FARMER’S FIRE

It was a hot, sticky summer’s day in 1973 when the local Farmers went up in flames. The biggest fire in 60 years quickly engulfed the department store and damaged several nearby shops. The heat from the blaze was so intense, it melted coins in the parking meters. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
